Dill Seeds from Survival Garden Seeds grow into a classic, aromatic herb valued for both its fresh foliage and flavorful seeds. A staple in vegetable gardens and herb beds, dill is especially well known for its role in pickling, but its bright, tangy flavor also pairs beautifully with fish, white meats, sauces, and vegetables.

Plants form tall, airy clumps of fine, feathery leaves that add texture and fragrance to the garden. Dill can reach 3–5 feet tall and is easy to grow, making it a favorite for beginner and experienced gardeners alike. Both leaves and seeds can be harvested and used fresh or dried for long-term storage.

Essential Culinary Herb:

  • Classic flavor for pickles and canning
  • Commonly used in Mediterranean and traditional cuisines
  • Pairs well with fish, poultry, sauces, and vegetables

Productive and Attractive Garden Plant:

  • Feathery foliage adds visual interest to herb and vegetable beds
  • Grows 3–5 feet tall
  • Leaves and seeds usable fresh or dried

Why Gardeners Love Dill:

  • Fast growing and easy to maintain
  • Dual-purpose harvest of leaves and seeds
  • Enhances both cooking and garden aesthetics
  • Versatile herb for fresh use and preservation

How to Grow Dill:
Direct sow seeds outdoors after the danger of frost has passed, as dill prefers not to be transplanted. Plant in full sun with well-drained soil. Harvest leaves as needed once plants are established, and allow seed heads to mature fully for seed collection and drying.

Very pleased
Color: Black, Size: 8' Wide x 30" Tall
This works great, and I find it to be very effective at soundproofing. The hinge is good quality, and it rolls up easily. It is slightly on the heavier side, but that is to be expected considering its larger size. The materials used to make it are top quality, and it will last a long time.

Trying to limit the sound from the basement.
I still am in process of evaluating the function of these but from an early assessment they do seem to help take the noise down a peg. I have installed these between the joists in my basement so that as my kids get ramped up playing video games it could possibly help prevent the sound from rattling the house. I did not need to use the sticky side for this as I was able to slide them in place around other things to hold them still. With four panels I have ok coverage of the area and if they continue to prove effective I will get more to fill out the area even more. They appear well made and of good size but I am not an expert in sound absorbing materials. Still so far so good.

Not like egg-crate foam, but these look nice and help with noise
Everyone is putting these on the walls. I opted for the ceiling. Back in the middle of the pandemic, I converted a corner of a back-room/work-room into a home office space for my work-from home activities. It's a basement, and so it's concrete walls, but I did my best to put things on or in front of the concrete to dampen sound. But I didn't spend any time thinking about the open-rafter ceiling, which is really just the main-level floor. That's where these (and a couple other) sound-reducing tiles came in. I tacked some packs of these overhead, and immediately noticed a fair reduction in noise in my "office," as well as noise from upstairs. But they also had the effect of reducing my ceiling height, making it easier to warm the space when it's cold. And they look good doing it, providing a pretty nice ceiling. These tiles are not very thick, not like true acoustic wall materials. So you're not going to get the sound dampening of egg-crate foam. But they do offer some degree of reduction in ambient noises. And they don't cost a lot. Overall, I'm pleased and think I need to order more for some other areas of the room.

A Little Thin
These were a little thinner than I expected, but they work well to help dampen the sound in hard rooms. The larger size means less time installing them and more time enjoying the benefits of a softer room.
